By taking into account the properties of the materials, solar cells with high efficiency and desirable
features are modeled. Cu2ZnSn2(S, Se)4 (CZTSSe), an earth-abundant material with a band gap of 1.24 eV,
would be a sensible candidate for the solar cell material. In this work, we developed a model and attempted to
illustrate an analysis of the impact of changing material and optical features, such as emitter width, carrier life
time, and resistances, on the J-V characteristics and quantum efficiency of a CdS/CZTSSe-based solar cell. This
model makes it simple to comprehend how the material and optical characteristics affect the suggested solar
cell's graphical analysis.
